Well, let me paint a picture of what my day is like where I live now. Ok, I need some milk, I’ll stop by the grocery store…then I can stop at True Value next door to grab that paint I needed. Better get the mail. End of story. I am not exaggerating. Blink and you might miss it. But, guess what. I. Love. It.
Now, I am not saying small town life is for everyone, that’s why it is a small town. It seems to fit for me.
And yet it sometimes doesn’t.
I have always dreamed of being an Interior Designer. Even as a young girl, I remember rearranging the furniture in our home, and having my mom come home shaking her head once again. Now I am much the same, but it is my husband that is shaking his head. The struggle is real. Making my dream of being an interior designer here is a stretch. But I’m not giving up. I’m getting creative.
I plan, prepare, research, think, think some more, and when I’m in the city, I strike like a snake! I know my local friends will understand. You’ve gotta get while the gettins good! It may seem like I’m going overboard, but really I’m just playing catchup.
Once my heart rate slows, and I’m able to relax, I can assess what I’ve done and work on projects. And that’s where I’m at now! I’m home from a long trip, and boy did I do some damage! But I am excited for what will come of it.
So come, stay a while, check out what I’m up to, because hopefully, there will be much much more to see!
Happy Friday Everyone!
