When we built our house, I wanted a breezeway. Somewhere to hide all the crap! It’s been awesome! Only problem? What do I do when it’s full of said crap!? Keep the door shut and don’t let people look in there. That’s where I was at. It wasn’t functioning very well. Any surface or hook was become a catch all for anything, and I mean anything.
This is what our breezeway looked like before I got my hands on it. I should have taken a picture when I was full of stuff. One locker has become my husbands collection of ties. Apparently taking them upstairs was too hard a task😂. Anything under the sun could be found in this room. And there just wasn’t enough room for shoes! I know, my problems are pretty bad! I just needed a change.
So one Saturday I had a plan to just dejunk everything in this room and maybe work on the rest another time. So my husband says no, let’s just do it now! Who am I to argue? A project? For me? Absolutely.
So here’s a little progression of how we did it all.
Started with the bench….
While husband was doing that, I painted the opposite wall in chalkboard paint…..
Then the boards on the wall started. This is where I started to get excited!
And here it is before I got my hands on it with paint:)
Almost done! Bruins looking a little sad. I need to throw his football.
Kids are already trying out the chalkboard….
Even lance is getting into the chalkboard…😂😂
Baskets for days…
Here it is! I still have a few things to figure out but I love it!!!! Hope you enjoy!
