DIY Cornstalk Fall Wreath

While brainstorming about what to use for our new fall wreath, I noticed my cornstalks outside! The corn was gone, but the stalks were still beautiful. Let me show you how I used them!

Items Needed

– Wreath Form – Hot Glue Gun – Floral Wire – Fall Foliage – Cornstalks

I first tied these fluffy tops of the cornstalk to the wreath form, using floral wire. I also weaved them through to keep them fully secured.

Tie To Wreath Form

I took some corn stalk leaves and made a bunch of bundles and tied them with floral wire about 1/4 of the way up.

Corn Leaf  Bundles

Last thing was to tie the leaf bundles to the wreath form. I set them on angle to hide the rest of the wreath. After this you can add more foliage, but I kept it simple.

Assemble

Isn't this wreath pretty? It's amazing what you can find in your own back yard!
