What you need

I did a 48 inch by 30 inch size. I measured, cut, and hemmed it. Then I looked online and found a plaid pattern I liked.

I laid out my rug on my kitchen counter. I then dry brushed some wide and thin vertical stripes.

Remove the tape and add more lines going horizontal. Then add very skinny vertical, then horizontal, lines on top until the desired pattern is done!

DIY Drop Cloth Rug For Every Season

What you need

– Drop Cloth – Fabric Paint – Paint Brushes – Frogtape – Large Ruler

I did a 48 inch by 30 inch size. I measured, cut, and hemmed it. Then I looked online and found a plaid pattern I liked.

Pick a Size & Pattern

I laid out my rug on my kitchen counter. I then dry brushed some wide and thin vertical stripes.

Begin Painting

Remove the tape and add more lines going horizontal. Then add very skinny vertical, then horizontal, lines on top until the desired pattern is done!

Add More Stripes
