DIY Paper Bag Snowflakes

These paper bag snowflakes are so cool and easy to make!  A great craft for kids! Brown paper sacks, a hot glue gun and some scissors and my daughter thought we were in heaven.

What you need...

– Paper Bags – Hot Glue Gun – Scissors – Twine

1.

First lay one of your paper bags folded bottom facing up. Run glue along the bottom and right up the middle.  Lay another bag directly on top of the first.

Glue along the top bag, and up the middle again and lay another bag onto this one. Repeat this process 8 times.

2.

Cut the edges into an angle on both sides. Now, cut along the sides of the paper bags. Then take the ends and glue them together.

3.

I glue a piece of twine to the back, usually in a crack of the snowflake.  This is how I hang them.

4.

I hung mine above the mantel this year and I just love them! Just like a real snowflake, no two are alike!
