Ingredients
1/3cupbrown sugar
1/2tspcinnamon
1/2 tsplemon juice
1tbspbutter
2peeled and sliced granny smith apples
Instructions
Peel and slice your apples( I like to slice them thin so that they cook faster). I use granny smith because I love the tartness(but you can use whatever you love)
Put butter, sliced apples, brown sugar, lemon and cinnamon in a sautee pan.
Sautee on medium heat for 5-10 minutes until softened. This part is dependent on your preference. I like just a bit of bit to mine, so I test them out and when they are to my liking(about 7 minutes) I turn them off and let them sit for a couple minutes.
The flavors are bright and delicious! There is something so wonderful about fresh sauteed apples. Add them to your favorite tart, to the top of ice cream, and more!
