Ingredients
2lbsground beef, turkey, or porkYou can combine as you prefer. We often have one of each
1cuppanko bread crumbsYou can use Gluten Free Panko as well.
1/3cup milk
2tbspminced garlic
1tbsp eachdried basil, oregano, parsleyIf you use fresh, combine to make about 1/4 fresh herbs
1cup parmesan cheese
1tspsalt
1/2tspblack pepper
1/4crushed red pepper flakesoptional
1 lgegg
Instructions
Mix your milk and breadcrumbs in a large bowl and let sit for 5-10 minutes
Add the rest of your ingredients to the bowl and combine well, but make sure not to overmix.
Preheat the oven to 425°
Shape mixture into 2 tbsp sized balls
Place on a parchment lined baking sheet
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until inside is 160°
Serve immediately in your favorite sauce, or try my easy spaghetti sauce!
Freeze the remainder of the meatballs in a freezer bag. Label and date the bag. You can easily add frozen meatballs to your favorite sauce and let them cook for 20 minutes. You will have fresh amazing homemade meatballs.
