Homemade Breadsticks

How to make the easiest 1 hour homemade breadstick recipe. These homemade breadsticks are super easy to make and taste amazing!!

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP Active Yeast
  • 1 1/2 CUP warm water
  • 4-4 1/2 CUPs All purpose flour or Bread flour
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1 TBSP Honey

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine yeast, warm water and honey.
  • Allow to stand and it will form bubbles. Add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture and mix until it forms a ball(I use a wooden spoon). Knead it a few times
  • Roll until apx 9 by 13 inches
  • Cut the rectangle in half the short way. Then cut it in half the long way. Next, but each piece into three pieces. You should have 24 breadsticks.
  • Spray your 9 by 13 pan with non stick spray or olive oil.
  • Lay your breadsticks side by side in the pan making two rows
  • Sprinkle with garlic salt and parmesan cheese
  • Can be baked immediately for more crunchy breadsticks or allow them to raise 15-30 minutes for fluffy breadsticks.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes. Makes apx 24 breadsticks
