No Knead Bread Recipe

The easiest no knead bread recipe! Just set it and forget it and by dinnertime you will have the yummiest loaf of bread fresh out of the oven! If you are new to bread, make sure to check this recipe out!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour can be all purpose or bread flour
  • 1 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp yeast

Instructions

  • Add your dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix together with your spatula.
  • Pour in your water and mix until combined. Use you hand to mix it until combined well. You can do this right in the bowl.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and let sit on your counter for 5-12 hours. I often make mine in the morning and bake it for dinner, or I mix it before bed and bake it in the mid morning.
  • Preheat the oven with a large dutch oven to 450 degrees F.
  • When you are ready to bake your bread, take the dough out of the bowl onto a floured surface. Shape it into a ball while trying not to pop all the bubbles.
  • Once it is shaped, lay it on a floured sheet of parchment paper. You can score your dough at this point to allow it to rise more.
  • After your oven and dutch oven is nice and hot, carefully lift the piece of parchment with the dough into the hot dutch oven. Put the lid on and let it cook for 30 minutes.
  • Take the lid off and let cook for another 15-20 minutes or until it sounds hollow when tapped.
  • Let cool before cutting.
