Homemade Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 diced granny smith apple
  • 1/2 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp pb powder reconstitute with water per the directions on the bottle
  • 1/2 cup oatmilk or milk of your choice

Instructions

  • Sautee apple slices in butter with the cinnamon and maple syrup. Cover and let simmer on low.
  • While the apple cook, make your oatmeal.
  • While they both cook, mix up your peanut butter powder or use regular peanut butter.I like the PB powder because its less fat but the same amount of protein.
  • Put the oatmeal in a bowl. Top with apples and the remaining syrup. Then top it with some peanut butter. You can eat it hot, or add milk or milk alternative such as oatmilk.
