12 Days of Super Fun Christmas Games for Kids

Well, friends, its almost Christmas again! Wherever you are, I am sure you are already feeling the pressure of all the things that you feel like you need to do. I know I do.  Something I am trying hard to do this year is to take a step back and have some fun with my kids, and these Christmas games for kids are easy ways to add some fun to a party or a day during Christmas vacation when they are climbing the walls.

Its true, kids are so excited for Christmas, rightfully so!  It does however, overwhelm parents and its nice to have a bit of an outlet to get some of their excited energy out.  I searched the internet to find super fun Christmas games for kids in hopes that they might help you fight those long days before Christmas.  

Whats even better is that these can be played at your next Christmas party!  Most of them are super easy to put together, and are really easy for kids of any age to play.  

I decided to collect 12 of our favorite Christmas games for kids, you know….for the 12 days of Christmas?  I feel like I didn’t have to point out the obvious, but there it is anyways.

Lets have a look at some fun Christmas games for kids:

1.  Minute to Win it Christmas Games | Kid Friendly Things to Do

My kids love minute to win it games, and this link has tons of good ideas!  With a snowball fight, building a snowman, snowman stack, and shoveling snow, there are so many fun games!  Check out the link above to see them all.

 

2.  Christmas Saran Wrap Christmas Game for Kids | Must Have Mom

I have played this at an adult game and with our kids, and let’s just say the kids are so excited to play this one, especially if there is candy involved.  They all think they are the ones  that are going to beat the saran wrapped ball, but it never happens that way.  Its hilarious to watch them each take turns trying to break into the saran wrap.

3.  Would You Rather Christmas Game for Kids | Kitchen Counter Chronicles

What a fun take on an adult game.  Kids will really love playing this one!

You cant go wrong with Bingo!  Love these easy games, and this one is  super fun Christmas game.

6.  Snowball Toss Game | Green Kid Crafts

Have some little kids?  This is a perfect game for them!  They will be entertained for hours with this fun Christmas game.

7.  Snowman Slam | Growing Jeweled Rose

Its like bowling…but with Olaf the snowman!  This is another super fun Christmas game for young kids.  Preschoolers will love this game the most I think.

8.  Holiday Ring Toss | Carnival Savers

This is such a cute idea! Use bottled root beer or other favorite bottled beverages and each time a kids rings a bottle they win that fun drink!  Its a fun, easy and rewarding for the kids.

9.  Balloon Pop | Carnival Savers

Be aware that this games uses darts, so an adult should supervise.  This is a fun game as well. Maybe create a winning system, where the more they pop, the bigger the prize!

10.  Poke A Tree Christmas Game | Oriental Trading

This would be a great game for a carnival or fun family event.  This Christmas party game is perfect for little kids!

11.  Roll A Reindeer Christmas Game for Kids | Inspiration Made Simple

A combination of dice and chance.  They kids will have fun building a reindeer, or whatever they can roll to make a funny looking reindeer.

12.  Pin the Nose on the Snowman | Tiff Keetch Blogspot

Like pin the nail on the donkey this is a fun and easy Christmas game for kids that will be fun at a party, carnival, or to fill a Christmas vacation day.

I hope you will try out some of these Christmas games for kids this year.  They are all very easy to put together, and require little planning.  Add them to your next family Christmas party, or spend a day playing them with your kids, just having fun.
