Its another day of my home tours for the holiday and today I am sharing a handmade holiday tablescape full of simple decor items, glowing candles, layering, and gorgeous greenery.

The important part of my tablescape is being able to reuse items throughout the entire year. I always have a few specific items I like to use for certain seasons, but my goal is to be able to implement these decor pieces without having to change out the entire decor of the room. I want cozy, cohesiveness and an inviting feel to my spaces, especially during the holidays.

Nothing is more inviting to me than a laid back table decorated using items you love and filled with edibles too! A nice crusty loaf of bread and some sweet apples to give the desire to eat.

I started this table with my big beam candle holder. This thing can hold about 10 candles and creates a lovely glow in the dining room when they are all lit.

I ended up using some faux candlesticks that can be operated with a remote. I am so glad I invested in them.

I wanted a more cozy table setting with low lighting a those late afternoon shadows. I think this time of year, the change in the weather and the light makes me crave a more cozy and drawn down space lit by candlelight and the sun.

For by place settings, I used some simple rope baskets I got a Target and used them as my chargers. I layered them with a cream placemat behind it. Layering is my jam.

I added a set of napkins to the plates with some adorable tiny grapvine wreath forms. I used them in a bir of a different way, almost used as if they are holding the napkins from the top. You have to experiment when doing anything like this. If what you’re doing isnt working, make sure to try other things!

I added some greenery that I got from my sister. Olive branches from her tree and rosemary sprigs as well. The combination is so fragrant too.

I found some adorable napkins at TJ Maxx that had some olive branches on them as well, it was meant to be.

I like to keep things casual and change things up. I decided to add the fork across the top of the plate and napkin as a way to break up the lines.

This table setting is one of my favorites for so many reasons. I love the relaxed and comforting vibe. I added some of my homemade salt dough ornaments and dried apple slices into the greenery as a little surprise.
