Cookie Thanksgiving Place Cards

Hey friends! I am excited to share a fun post with you today. Today I joined a handful or two of my most favorite bloggers and we all want to share fun and easy Thanksgiving place cards! Make sure to scroll to the bottom to see more amazing ideas by my friends!

I have always thought that place cards were a fun way to personalize Thanksgiving for family and friends, and what could be better than a sugar cookie place card! I mean, it is Thanksgiving and we all love to eat! Why not make it edible!

There are so many ways you can use cookie place cards and customize them in so many different ways to make them your style and your taste. We probably all have a sugar cookie recipe that can easily be used for this. What is great is that these can be made ahead of time, and set out on the day.

You could even let this be a fun kids activity and let them make the cookies! They sure would be unique. I went very simple with mine, and used a royal icing to ice the cookies and a small tip to pipe the names.

The white icing with the black names makes it easy and clear to see who site where, and the colors are perfect for my style.

I have always thought the idea of cookie place cards were a fun and casual way to celebrate and make everyone feel special at the main meal.

You could even put them in little clear bags, and have them be something they can take home with them!

I set mine up outside in our outdoor dining area, where we are constantly enjoying our meals. Sadly by the time Thanksgiving arrives, it is way way to cold to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner outdoors. So, we try to enjoy it a bit right now, when the days are still warm and the weather a bit more predictable.

We spent an evening out Ono the patio enjoying our early outdoor fall dinner and the kids thought their place cards were so fun! A treat at the end of dinner!
