Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Twelve On Main. I’ve got my living room, kitchen, dining room and porch all ready for the season. Just a couple more spaces and I will be completely done! Today I want to share my cozy Christmas living room decor with you.
I am sharing my cozy Christmas living room along with 21 other amazing bloggers! Make sure to check them all out at the end of this post! But first, lets have a look at what I have this year!
It is so cozy, I can’t get my pup to leave while I take pictures, so I just let him be. He is, after all a big part of our home, so why not let him hang out where he loves to be.
This year, I wanted my Christmas living room decor to be cozy, simple, and a bit dramatic in some areas.
It all goes so wonderful with our new IKEA Ektorp sectional. We have needed a new couch for a long time and we decided to give this one a try. So far its been great and I can easily change out the slip covers. I just recently added my bright white slipcovers for the holiday season. The bright white with the rest of the decor is stunning. I have another set of slip covers that I will switch back and forth with as needed.
On the right of this photo is our Christmas advent calendar this year. I was inspired by the Christmas tree and wanted it to look like an organic Christmas tree made of sticks. It has more orange slice garland, simple muslin bags, and more!
We have a new coffee table in the living room this year. I have been wanting another tree stump coffee table and we decided to make it larger this time and have them all the same height.
The raw look of the wood is just what I was looking for.
It goes well with all the elements in the room.
My cozy Christmas living room decor is flanked by my kitchen and dining room. I love the view that I get from the living room into these spaces.
The kitchen is ready for the holidays as well.
I am truly grateful for the cozy spaces I get to call home. They are even more welcome this year as well all learn to navigate this weird time. I love the feeling of safety and peace here.
Some simply hung cedar garland to soften and warm up the space between the kitchen and the living room is one of my most favorite features this year.
Things are simple and laid back here. We love to have a cozy place to land and this living room is the ultimate.
If you need me, I’ll be right here, watching a Christmas movie with a roaring fire and some twinkling lights from the tree.
