St. Patrick’s Day Printable Banner
Are you feeling lucky? Well, I am. It may be because of this fun St. Patrick’s Day printable banner I have here for you today. You know, some years I don’t even register that it is St Pattys day. Some days, I don’t even know what the day of the week it is either. Ah, the life of a mother….and a blogger.
Of course, knowing me, I wanted to do something special for this holiday while complimenting my decor. I just cannot help myself guys. I decided I wanted to create a “lucky” banner. It’s a not so obvious St. Patrick’s Day banner. This printable is quick and easy, just download and cut them out. The file will be at the bottom of this post. I like to use card stock to print them on, but I was out, so I used regular copy paper and backed it with some green/slightly neutral green card stock.
I made this very similar to many of the more recent banners. I made two holes at the top of each banner letter with a hole puncher and then threaded some twine between each letter. I added the shamrocks on the end for a little subtle whimsy. This girl is all grown up.
I was a little impatient and hung it before the glue was completely dry, and so the pages curled a little, but nothing an iron can’t fix. Sara Fail.
I hung this on my mantle in out upstairs family room. Yes…..I am “lucky” enough to have two fireplaces. To tell you the truth, sometimes I forget about this one. Ridiculous, I know. Especially because I love it so. A simple chalkboard and some bottles with some spring flowers and I am good to go here.
I hope you enjoy this printable. It is a simple download. It is intended for personal use only. Good luck!
