Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl add your ground beef, oatmeal, sauces and seasonings.
Using your hands mix together all the ingredients until just combined. Mixing the meat too much will create a tough meatloaf.
Transfer the meat into a loaf pan, perferably a 9 by 5 loaf pan.
Press down gently and smooth the top. Mix together your ingredients for the glaze and spoon it over the top of the meat loaf. Spread it out to cover the entire loaf.
Put the meatloaf in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes. Check it at 45 minutes and assess.
I find depending on the density of the meat, it may take longer to cook. You want the meatloaf to be cooked in the center. That is when you will know its done.
The top of the meatloaf should start to caramelize as well, just dont let it burn.
Once the meatloaf is cooked, take it out of the oven and let it sit for about. 10 minutes. This will allow it to reabsorb any juices and cool just enough to serve.
I like to serve this with a side of veggies and mashed potatoes. I also like to serve it with some of my favorite gold barbecue sauce by Hey Grill Hey, but you can use whatever your favorite sauce or gravy is.
Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. You can either use an air fryer to microwave to reheat your meatloaf
