Homemade Turmeric Paste

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ground turmeric powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper


  1. Put your turmeric powder and water in a small saucepan and turn your burner on low.  Mix the two ingredients together to form a paste.  Mix in the coconut oil and ground black pepper.  The mixture should thicken up.  As soon as it thickens, turn off the heat.  Store in a glass jar in your refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
